After I had Annabella I had made it to my new room in recovery. Obviously nurses were periodically checking on me. Bella was having troubble nursing. She would latch, but she’d fall asleep though her meals. I was discussing it with a nurse and she mentioned she had soaly pummped for 6 months at one time. I asked why and how was it. We all know how pumping is 🙃. But she did it for a set of twins she delivered. AS A SURROGATE. If that’s not a sign I don’t know what is.

I was diacussing with my husband because he had a few questions for me. Since the 2 parents I will be carrying for are men. My husband asked where they would get the egg from and if it would be me..i quickly said no. We all know its taboo, harder to give up, and a big conflict of intrest. So it’ll be a third party.

It did get me thinking. What do you prefer? What would be weirder? For me I feel odd giving up my own off spring. It’d be my genetics but not my child. Maybe I’ll change my mind after this experiece. I’d rather carry a child that’s not mine and know that.

Anyways tell me your opinion, looking for a good conversation! Is it better for you to give up an egg for your child you’d never meet OR grow a child that isn’t yours?
